Reimagining Education – Mutual Education Learning Laboratory – India
23. – 26. November 2025 Asia Plateau, Panchgani, Maharashtra, India
Trainers and organisers: Corrylaura Van Bladel (Belgium), Gabriele Grunt (Austria), Marianne Göthlin (Sweden) , Manuela Murariu (Romania)
Nonviolent Communication Trust and Initiatives of Change, India, in collaboration with NVC in Education, Europe, bring the Mutual Education Learning Laboratory to India for the first time.
We dream of schools where teachers, parents and those involved in the education system nourish and encourage growth and learning. Nonviolent Communication (NVC), as developed by Dr. Marshall B Rosenberg, is one way to make this dream come true. Introducing NVC to the learning environment will create space for teachers, administrators, and policy makers to reimagine education so that it enhances:
- Effectiveness
- Connection
- Sustainability
- Growth
If you are an educator, policy maker, teacher, parent, academic or someone interested and invested in nurturing and transforming learning, join us for a week of living in a community committed to Reimagining Education, using the principles of NVC.
DURING THE MUTUAL EDUCATION LEARNING LABORATORY, WE WILL EXPLORE HOW TO:
- Learn in a mutually respectful way
- Address conflict with care and in ways that strengthen trust
- Receive challenging behaviour as key to supporting students’ inner motivation
- Show care for self and others in the way one speaks and listens
- Role-model inclusion and cooperation
- Introduce alternatives to punishment
- Express our truth with care and listen empathically
Mutual Education Learning Laboratories have been offered in different countries since 2010. These LABs are uniquely designed to offer both a structured and open learning environment. This is an opportunity to share, explore and learn together so that you will have the experience of a life-enriching learning community that is truly living the values of Nonviolent Communication in an educational setting.
This event is being offered on a non-profit basis.
