GERMANY 2024 - INTERNATIONAL INTENSIVE TRAINING

CROSSING DEEP VALLEYS WITH EMPATHY AND LOVE
International Intensive Training (IIT) by the Center for Nonviolent Communication

Join us for this residential retreat in Sayda, Germany (27 September – 6 October 2024) that will help you bring nonviolence and peace into all areas of your life. In this event, you can discover skills that will help you improve the quality of your relationships, deepen your inner peace, and increase your contribution to the world. Each session will be in English, and some sessions will be translated into German and/or Ukrainian.

Come and live NVC in community, for nine days, in the heart of Europe: The Ore- mountains (Erzgebirge) in the east of Germany, close to the Czech border. We will, in connection with the beautiful surroundings, tap into empathy and love to be able to meet our daily challenges, both in our personal life and the societies and systems we are part of – in ways that serve life for all involved. Connect to yourself, meet the other, and strengthen your contribution to the world.

We want to hold space for the pain associated with past and ongoing historic events in Europe and the other continents we all come from. We will put attention to how they work through in our lives and the way we perceive the world around us and interact with others and ourselves. We will strengthen our resilience and grow our skills for the transformation of conflicts.

We explicitly wish to make this IIT accessible for those who do not speak English well enough to express their emotions and needs. Therefore, this IIT offers translation of all plenaries and some workshops during each session into German (consecutive) and partly Ukrainian (in-ear translation).
